About this calendar

This calendar's main purpose is to tell you when news is scheduled, in your timezone. We auto-fetch actual values for ~80% of releases via official government APIs (BLS, FRED, Eurostat, ECB, BOE). Releases marked "Schedule only" don't have a free public API for the headline value (ISM PMI, ADP, Consumer Confidence, FOMC Minutes) — for those you'll see the date and time only.

About this calendar

A fully automated economic calendar focused on events that move futures, forex and equity markets. Coverage spans seven economies — the United States, Eurozone, United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, Australia and Switzerland — and the eight major central banks that set policy across them.

Every value shown is fetched directly from the originating government agency via their official API: BLS, BEA and the Federal Reserve for US data; Eurostat and ECB for the Eurozone; ONS and the Bank of England for the UK; FRED for the rest. When a release goes public, our background job pulls the actual number within minutes and updates this page live without requiring a refresh.

We display the Previous value next to the Actual so you can see at a glance how each release compares to the prior period. Forecast values, where shown, are trend-based estimates flagged with EST.; we don't license the Bloomberg or Reuters market consensus.

How this calendar compares to ForexFactory, MyFxBook & Investing.com

Mainstream economic calendars are great at one thing: dense event coverage. They license the Bloomberg/Reuters consensus and aggregate hundreds of releases per week. We took a different approach — a tighter, honest macro calendar focused on the events that actually move markets.

  • Actual values fetched directly from the publishing agency's official API (BLS, FRED, ECB, BOE, Eurostat). No scraping, no licensing risk, no stale data.
  • Transparent about what we cover and what we don't: schedule-only events are clearly labelled, delayed sources show the expected publish date.
  • Tight integration with the rest of cot-reports.com — click any FX release and see how non-commercial traders are positioned in that currency on the COT Report.
  • Multi-language (6 locales), dark/light mode, cross-device starred event alerts, no ads. Free with no signup required.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the results come from?+

Directly from the publishing agency. US jobs numbers come from the BLS API the moment they're released. US GDP from BEA. Fed interest rate decisions from federalreserve.gov. Eurozone data from Eurostat and ECB. UK data from ONS.

How often is the calendar updated?+

The schedule for the year is fixed. Actual values are fetched automatically from the publishing agency and appear here within minutes of the official release.

Can I embed this calendar on my own website?+

Yes. Grab the iframe snippet from the Embed section below. The widget is responsive, theme-aware, and carries a small attribution link to COT-Reports.com in the footer.

What does High impact vs Medium impact mean?+

High impact events typically move markets the most: central bank rate decisions, NFP, CPI, GDP. Medium impact events still matter (PPI, retail sales, consumer confidence) but historically produce smaller price reactions. We omit low-impact events to keep the calendar focused.
